Terms of Service

Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or using Colosal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Colosal for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

The service

Colosal helps freelancers work with Upwork. It includes:

• a web app at app.colosal.xyz, where you can scan Upwork for jobs, generate cover letters and screening-question answers with AI, and optimize your Upwork profile; and
• a Chrome extension that works on upwork.com pages and acts only when you click a button.

Colosal is independent of Upwork. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Upwork.

Accounts and security

• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for your password, your Google account access and everything that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at hi@paistudio.co if you think your account has been used without your permission.
• One person per account. Do not share your login.

Connecting Upwork

If you connect Upwork, you authorize Colosal to access job data and your own talent profile through the Upwork API, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw this authorization at any time.

You remain responsible for complying with Upwork’s terms and policies, and for everything you submit on Upwork, including proposals you send. Upwork may limit or close accounts under its own rules, and we are not responsible for its decisions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• abuse the service, or interfere with or disrupt it or its infrastructure;
• use Colosal to scrape or collect data at excessive volume, or by automated means beyond the features we provide;
• circumvent usage limits, or create multiple accounts to get around them;
• resell, sublicense or rent the service without our written permission;
• submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harmful content, or use the service to mislead clients;
• reverse engineer the service or try to access it in ways we have not allowed, except where the law gives you that right;
• use the service to break any law or any third party’s rights.

AI output

Colosal uses AI to produce proposals, answers, scores and suggestions. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular job.

• Review before you use it. You must read and check everything before you send or publish it.
• You are responsible for what you send to clients or put on your profile.
• No guarantees. We do not guarantee that you will win jobs, earn any income or improve your profile ranking.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Colosal has free and paid plans. Paid plans unlock features such as WhatsApp notifications and higher usage limits. Daily usage limits apply to AI features. See the pricing information on our website for current plans and limits.

Payments for paid plans are currently handled manually. Billing, cancellation and refund arrangements are agreed with you when you subscribe; contact us at hi@paistudio.co with any question.

We may change plans, features, limits or prices. We will give notice of changes that affect a plan you have already paid for.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you give us, such as your profile text, templates, scanner settings and attachments, and of the output generated for you. You confirm you have the right to give us this content.

You give Colosal a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process and transmit your content, including sending it to the providers described in our Privacy Policy, solely to provide the service to you. This license ends when your content is deleted, subject to our retention practices in the Privacy Policy.

Our intellectual property

The Colosal service, software, design, name and logo belong to PT Pilar Antar Informasi or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your own work. They do not give you any other rights in it.

Third-party services

Colosal depends on third-party services, including Upwork, Supabase, an AI provider, Google, Telegram, WhatsApp and Vercel (hosting). Those services have their own terms and policies, and we do not control them. If one of them changes, limits access or becomes unavailable, parts of Colosal may change or stop working.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Colosal running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features at any time, including to follow changes made by Upwork or other providers.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Colosal and delete your account at any time by contacting hi@paistudio.co.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we must do so to follow the law, or to protect the service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. When your account ends, your right to use the service ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply will do so.

Disclaimer of warranties

Colosal is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of AI output or job data.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Colosal and its owners, staff and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, jobs, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate Colosal against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your breach of Upwork’s terms or anyone’s rights.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith with us at hi@paistudio.co. If it cannot be resolved, it is subject to the courts of Indonesia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. If you keep using Colosal after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
